About Us
The first Bangladeshi organization in the USA
Founded in 1972, the Bangladesh Association of America, Inc. (BAAI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing cultural events, preserving values and religious traditions, and hosting sports tournaments, as well as engaging the younger generation in building connections. We also provide food distribution to those facing poverty.
At BAAI, our mission goes beyond cultural preservation—it is about fostering pride in our shared heritage and ensuring that our community members, whether born in the United States or arriving from Bangladesh, can confidently embrace their identity while actively participating in American society.
We are a community driven by passion, tradition, and unity, committed to making a positive impact for generations to come.
